Reminder for wagtail March 8-9 2008
Please lets have a good turnout, not yet had many confirmed as attending!! Remember, a low turnout sees us lose this site. We bring on new sites as requested, and not enough turnout to show we're a big enough club for these sites to bother with.
Its in your hands….
Also comments needed re this new forum. The reason for the simple sum at the start of any post is so that the software knows your human, and not a 'bot' looking to post spam or porn or both! Stick with it guys, it's to make things better all round!!

Cheers Daz we really enjoyed the weekend, that site is very brilliant indeed.
Was a shame that Trev. burnt his hand on the burco and buggered up his
w.end, some reward eh for all the hard work he puts in for the club.
The Landcruiser did well and I can now see why Toyota has such a good
reputation the world over, although I think Byron might disagree at the
moment?
Saturday night was alittle wet so me and Duncan carried on the theme and sat
out in the rain under the umbrella downing one or two beers whilst Callum kept
the minature bonfire going, and Shelley and Chloe digested a chinese (meal)
Sunday was good and Ezz I reckon you now need a beefier front tow point?
The turnout was pretty abismal but Phil, Andy, Ako and shrek seemed to
enjoy the place although the 4 sets of 'doughnut' marks on the grass won't
go down too well when Charlie goes to move his sheep!
It's mud heaven, can't wait to go again. Cheers Chris.

The weather was good and so was the site all the staff neeeded to have a good day was there shame the rest of the club did'nt come. Even though we had a visit from a Unimog but not enough visitors to warrant setting up a comp.Let's hope this was a one off glitch. As for Toyotas Chris I worked for them for 2yrs and this is my third and this is first time I have ever had any kind of trouble, it's booked in with the main dealer tomorrow £££££. I still think there one of the best built vehicle's out there.

Bet you've got low volts or something like a dodgy sensor??
Have just 'valeted' the Cruiser and that clay took some shifting but it's all off
now, and the simex are off. Any news on the jimny?

Replaced the vacum pipe and still no gear change. so I'm at a bit of a loss with that one unless the valve it's self as failed. If so, it's so far up the tunnel you cannot see how to remove it. Bit of a head scatcher.Any sugestions ? Might need to employ you to remove the box Chris. On the brighter side the Landcriuser is fixed it seems they dont like after market filters. Inchcape Fitted a new toyota fuel filter today and it's all fixed. Shame I cannot say the same about the Jimny.

Am surprised that the fuel filter was the cause but see how it goes eh?
Jimny gearbox removal is a last resort really but if you need it doing then
just let me know. Need to have a good go at it 1st. tho' and definatly need
to research to have half a chance of replacing it or rebuilding it, ie: we need to
know exactly what it came out of!

Byron,
I have the mercedes part catalogue and maintenance procedures on DVD if you want them. Dad has them for his mercedes coaches, but they cover everything I Think.
