Dear all,
I am letting you know that Carol Waite, our ex Child Protection Officer and wife of previous club scrutineer Jim Waite, is currently in hospital recovering from major surgery to correct a massive brain aneurysm. I have spoken with Jim today (Wednesday 10th December) who tells me that Carol has undergone surgery and is conscious and back on the ward and is now on the road to recovery. Carol will be in hospital for a while, and it would appreciated if club members could post a message of support for Carol and Jim on the website.
If anyone wants to contact Jim direct and does not have a number for him, contact me and I will give it to you, it will not be posted on the website.
I have organised for a large bunch of flowers and a Get Well Soon card to be delivered to the hospital from all within the club.

Carol sorry to hear you are not well, I did buy you some chocolates but i ate them. And they were very nice. But joking apart i hope you do get better soon, if i can be of any help in any way let me know as long as it ain`t gardening.
I hope you are better for the turkey and pud..

We are really sorry to hear about this and are thinking of you both, we hope Carol feels better real soon. We’ll do some visiting as soon as she’s up for it

Dear all, I phoned earlier to speak to Jim for an update on Carols condition and was suprised when Jim said “would you like to speak to Carol?” I had a brief chat with her and although she is obviously still very unwell and suffering with severe pains in her head, but things are slowly getting better. There is a possibilty she may be allowed home on Mon 15th Dec. I will keep you all informed as to how she is recovering over the coming days and weeks.

Shelley ‘n’ Chloe have visited Carol yesterday, still poorly but should be home by Mon.
Nurse Jim will no doubt take over from there?

UPDATE ON CAROL WAITE.
I have received word from Jim that Carol was discharged from hospital and is now at home getting plenty rest and is on the road to recovery.
Hope you’re feeling OK Carol, I’ll be in touch….
