Chloe would like to say thankyou to all the club members who have wished her a good recovery from her forthcoming back operation. As if she hadn’t been through enough already eh? said Mum & Dad.

Hi folks, Chloe has had her operation which took almost 8 hrs. she is
obviously still very poorly and in a bit of pain but only spent 1 night
in Intensive Care which is good.
She did manage to tell Callum to clear off this afternoon when he tickled
her feet!, fingers crossed eh she’ll be ok and we all thank you for all the
good wishes and kind thoughts.

It is a very small world when you find out that the nurse who’s sat next to the I.C. unit bed with you all night happens to live next door to 1 of the
SORC Administration staff! Absolutely unreal.
PLEASE DO NOT MENTION ANY NAMES ON THE WEBSITE THOUGH, TA.
AS YOU ALL KNOW PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY IS THE RULE THERE.

We are glad to here things are looking good so far Chloe keep up the good work, I’m sure your Mum and Dad are very proud of you and we hope to see you soon.

Its now 10 months since the last operation and in that time Chloe’s been fine and just as active (crazy) as any other kid, but the last few body scans have shown a small amount of growth on some of the remaining bits of the original tumor. She endured months of chemotherapy at 3 years old, now she’s got to get through 5 to 7 weeks of daily radiotherapy up in Sheffield, which will be starting in March.
Dad………………….( I did mention the ‘LEEK’ event to Shelley whilst writing this and surprisingly she laughed!!).
