We track the performance of the website using Google Analytics, This means that we can see how many people visit us, where from, and what content has performed the best. As i know how uncompetitive we are here I thought that it would be fun to show the latest stats since we
started with the new website.
The image below has the details. You may have to save it to your drive to read it. The important ones are “unique page views”.

Britain’S BIGGEST 4X4 Accessory Store… and a lot more!
http://www.britishindoor4×4show.com/index.html
Now a firm fixture in the 4×4 calendar, Donington is a prime opportunity for off-roaders to get together, talk vehicles and shop for parts and accessories.
Run by the makers of Total Off Road and Planet 4×4 magazines, the show is well established as Britain’s number one off-road supermarket with over 90 exhibitors to shop from - whether you’re into laning, racing, winch challenges, overland travel or just having fun in your vehicle.
And this year we’ve doubled the size of the modified vehicle display, so there’s even more top trucks on show for you to ogle.
The show is on Sunday 17th February at Donington Exhibition Centre in Castle Donington, just off the M1, Junction 24. Gates open at 10.00am.
There’s free car parking and a licensed bar and restaurant. So with free entry to under 16s and £2.50 off the advance ticket price, don’t hang about and book your tickets now!
For further info on the show, please contact rachael.grignon@wwonline.co.uk.
Byron, there is a competition for modified vehicles with prizes, you may have a good shot cos it still looks like a car of sorts!

if you want to add your pictures to your articles and galleries, its best if they are no larger than 800 x 600 pixels.
To resize pictures for the site, a good program for doing this is BIMPlite.
You can download the program from here, and best of all it’s free.

To write an article on the new system is pretty easy.
Once you have logged in, from the link on the right hand side…
the system presents a dashboard to you, you need to go to write post.
From this page, you can now write out the article,
and use the upload manager to add any files or images that you want to. Click upload, choose your file, then hit upload again. Adding some titles and descriptions to the pictures that you upload is a good idea too.
The best size for pictures on the site is 800×600 pixels. (the width should be a max of 800 pixels). This means that we wont top up the site with pictures, and that they will load quickly into the page.
A good free program for image manipulation is GIMP 2 along with Davids Batch processor for processing many pictures at once.
Once the article has been written, choose a category from the right hand side, and then hit publish.

As you can probably see if you are reading this, the website has undergone a radical change. This should not effect the operation of it. The aim of the change is to enable members to write articles and post galleries in an easier fashion. The forum has been left alone for the time being and is still available, from a link on the sidebar (orange bit on the side). Read More
