for our annual ‘pre-christmas’ bash. This year fees have been set at the following – members £10 per driver, non-members £20 per driver (please note if you have not yet paid your subs, the day will cost you an additonal £12; no subs, no driving!)

This event will be a ‘pay & play’ day, from 10am to 4pm, with free hot drinks throughout the day.

Bring some dry wood and we’ll have a bonfire to stand round and keep warm!

Bit chilly

To all members,

As several sites have recently closed,we are looking the increase the sites we currently use by introducing new ones. Many thanks to club member Andy Fearnley whorecently  drove to see the site owner of Padley Wood to get contact details for me. I have to arrange a meeting in the next couple of weeks to take over our insurance documents and then book some dates for next year. Once again thanks Andy.

If any other members use sites with other clubs that we do not currently use, please get in touch and we can discuss it, I need to have contact details for site owners, and some other club secretarys , not all it must be said, are not forthcoming with that kind of information, although I don’t understand why!?!?

Directions: Jnct 20 of the M1 follow the A4304 east towards Husbands Bosworth & head to the Gliding school off the A50, you’ll see us at Avalanche Adventure.

If you are using satellite navigation be aware that it will take you straight past us and into Sibbertoft village, We are situated half a mile out of Sibbertoft at the Sibbertoft end of the Airfield.

It is my sad duty to inform you of the death of one of our most long standing members. Frank Henshaw was one of the original members of Spondon Off Road many years ago, and many of our long standing members will remember Franks sense of humour. Frank will be sadly missed by all of those who knew him, RIP mate, it was a pleasure to have known you.
