To write an article on the new system is pretty easy.
Once you have logged in, from the link on the right hand side…
the system presents a dashboard to you, you need to go to write post.
From this page, you can now write out the article,
and use the upload manager to add any files or images that you want to. Click upload, choose your file, then hit upload again. Adding some titles and descriptions to the pictures that you upload is a good idea too.
The best size for pictures on the site is 800×600 pixels. (the width should be a max of 800 pixels). This means that we wont top up the site with pictures, and that they will load quickly into the page.
A good free program for image manipulation is GIMP 2 along with Davids Batch processor for processing many pictures at once.
Once the article has been written, choose a category from the right hand side, and then hit publish.

Chris’s buggy and an SJ (sorry I don’t know who it is, add the details in the comment form and I’ll update the post)
Edit: The unknown SJ under the enormous chevy tidal wave is Ako’s….
How did it keep on running? LOL!
As you can probably see if you are reading this, the website has undergone a radical change. This should not effect the operation of it. The aim of the change is to enable members to write articles and post galleries in an easier fashion. The forum has been left alone for the time being and is still available, from a link on the sidebar (orange bit on the side). Read More

Joining the new site is pretty easy.
To be able to add articles and pictures you need to prove that you are genuine member of the club, if you add a comment to the end of this post then we can verify your email addresss and then add you as a user.
We are screening registrations to try and stop the porn peddlers from swamping the site.
It should not take long to verify you as a member, so please be patient. You can make yourself a member of the forums by validating your email address.
Regards
MarkN

There are a few points I would like to make on this subject they are not directed at anyone in particular so if your feeling all offended and miffed Tough.
We are all adults even if we don’t act like it, no one else is responsible for our happiness if your not happy with the events DO SOMETHING don’t moan and bitch like a child.
An event may mean different things to different people, meeting friends chilling out etc At the core of it however the best definition was from Barry Overton in this club 20 odd years ago, “The purpose of an event is to develop our driving skills and to develop our vehicles so we can achieve more” I believe this to be true it must be, every one who has come to the club has developed their driving skills to a very high level, well above the national offroad average, because the standard is so high in this club, this fact if often overlooked. Everyone seems to be disappearing into the garage after events and low and behold next time out their vehicle has been improved, so the second part is also true. Where is all this going you may ask? Well it causes a problem, remember your first site how extreme it felt, the events just got better then after a while they seemed somehow more tame? Read More
